REGULATIONS

For the event "Decarbonization Submit 2024", hereinafter referred to as the Meeting, organized on September 16-19, 2024 at the Renaissance Hotel in Warsaw, the following rules and regulations are introduced, applicable to all participants. Registration for the Meeting is at the same time an acknowledgement of familiarization with the content of the regulations and a commitment to abide by them. The content of the regulations is posted on the dedicated website where participants register www.decarbonization-summit2024.com.

  1. The organizer of the event is Holcim Poland S.A. with its registered office at 110 Warszawska Street, 28-366 MaƂogoszcz.
  2. Participants of the event are required to strictly comply with these Rules and Regulations and the requirements of the facility where the meeting takes place, in particular to comply with fire safety regulations in force on the premises.
  3. You should behave in a manner consistent with the rules of social intercourse, in particular not to endanger your own safety and the safety of others.
  4. It is prohibited to bring and carry:
    1. a) your own alcohol, intoxicants and chemicals.
    2. b) all liquids and beverages in glass, metal, plastic cans, which, if used improperly, may pose a threat to human life or health.
    3. c) dangerous objects, in particular: weapons, knives, tools, explosives, pyrotechnics.

    In case of violation of this point by a participant of the meeting, the organizer reserves the right to call the police for a search or appropriate tests. The organizer notes that in the event that a participant notices a threat, he or she should move away from the place of danger and immediately inform the organizer or the Hotel Reception.
  5. Participants of the meeting are forbidden to use slogans of racist, religious and generally accepted socially offensive, except for the artistic part prepared by the Organizer.
    The Organizer reserves the right to expel the participant(s) of the meeting using such slogans.
  6. The Organizer informs that a prerequisite for participation in the meeting is consent to be photographed, filmed, recorded by the Organizer, and/or other appointed third parties.
    The Organizer reserves the right to use, broadcast, publish, and license, without payment or other form of payment, their voice, image, and likenesses, which may be used with the right to in live broadcast or playback, through video screens and other methods of transmission and recording of data, in photography or through other contemporary media technologies, especially social media and the Internet. Participation in the event is tantamount to giving this consent.
  7. The organizer informs that it has a liability insurance policy.
  8. The organizer is responsible for securing the meeting only in the area of the Hotel facility and the fenced area adjacent to the facility from 08:00 to 24:00 from 16-19.09.2024.
  9. In other cases not covered by the rules of procedure, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
  10. If a participant notices a threat or violation of the rules, he is obliged to immediately pass the information to persons designated by the Organizer or to hotel reception staff.
  11. The Organizer reserves the right to take recourse for any damage caused intentionally to the property of the Hotel or third parties.
  12. Additional security requirements resulting from SARS-COV 2.
    1. 12.1. Persons with visible symptoms of illness (cough, fever, runny nose, general malaise resulting from infection) should inform the organizer and cancel the arrival.
    2. 12.2. Registration for the meeting is tantamount to confirmation that, to the best of their knowledge, the participant is not ill and does not pose a danger to others.
    3. 12.3. If during the ceremony the participant develops the symptoms listed in 12.1, the organizer asks to provide information and further action will be taken in agreement.
